NCI’s System Diagnostic & Air Balancing Courses have been attended by thousands of contractors and for many it has changed the way they do their everyday business. In this training contractors begin to understand how air pressure and air flow control true comfort.

NCI offers training and education in the areas of Carbon Monoxide Detection and Combustion Analysis. Our CO/combustion courses have been known to “totally change the way a contractor thinks about carbon monoxide” and to dispel many myths and preconceived notions about what are acceptable levels of CO and how to prevent CO poisoning from occurring in the home or office.

NCI's Founders
NCI Inc. Chairman and CEO Dominick Guarino has been involved in the HVAC industry for more than 16 years in various capacities. He has been a Sales and Installation Manager for a residential/light commercial HVAC firm, and was Chief Editor & Associate Publisher of Contracting Business Magazine and Energy & Environmental Management magazines until 1998. He kicked off the first ever HVAC Comfortech and is still heavily involved in its success today. Prior to that he was the National Service and Training Manager for an international medical equipment manufacturer, where he designed and taught hundreds of training seminars for their dealers. He is also a monthly columnist and Editorial Advisor for Contracting Business Magazine. He is on various industry committees for several organizations including ACCA, ARI & NATE, and has served on boards for a number of industry manufacturers and associations.


NCI President Rob Falke also owns National Balancing Service of Central California, a firm that provides both residential and commercial air balancing services. A former HVAC contractor, Rob has served the industry as a president of the Air Conditioning Trade Association, he was a frequent speaker at Focus on the Future, and he regularly presents air balancing training for the Affordable Comfort Conference, the Design Build Seminar, and HVAC Comfortech, the industry's premier training conference. Rob serves as an Editorial Advisor for Contracting Business Magazine where he is also a contributing author. He is on NATE's (North American Technician Excellence) air distribution committee, and provides technical writing for manufacturers of HVAC equipment and testing instruments.
