National Comfort Team Annual Conference
The National Comfort Team Annual Conference is put on once per year and features seminars, training and events to further educate contractors in the ways of Performance-Based Contracting™.

They came to Nashville from across the nation, both large and small contractors, all focused on improving their business in the coming year. The comments were unanimous; that the National Comfort Team 2005 Annual Conference was well worth the trip. Highlights of the event included a highly participative panel discussion on 13 SEER and how Performance Based Contractors would deal with these new conditions. Many confirmed that with their air diagnostic and combustion diagnostic skills, they were already prepared for the new guidelines.
Further highlights included the introduction of NCI's "ComfortMaxx™" HVAC System Certification program from Dominick Guarino and Rob Falke and a animated presentation on integrating Performance-Based Contracting™ into a HVAC business given by successful contractor Vince DiFilippo. There was retail marketing advice and direction from Service Roundtable President Matt Michel and sales advice from successful contractor Chuck Worley. David Richardson, who had presented at the 2004 event, gained rave reviews for this year's presentation on the CSER (cooling system efficiency ratio).
In addition to thanking the contractors for attending, Guarino gave a special thanks to Arzel, TSI, Equiguard, Testo, Field Controls and Service Roundtable for helping to sponsor the conference. Attendees left the event packed with information, ideas, and stories shared by other contractors, which helped confirm and solidify their business direction. Further information presented at the NCI annual conference will be released throughout the fall season so all members may benefit from the variety of material presented.
