NCI Meets Annual Conference

At NCI Meets, we kicked off a rollout of NCI's new "Home Performance Evaluation and Maintenance" program complete with training, forms, procedures and marketing materials - all focused on helping you, as a performance-based contractor position your capabilities and image as a Total Home Comfort Solutions company.

At NCI's Summit previously, most members agreed that most traditional "Home Performance" contractors have not been able to succeed as independent companies not relying on subsidies for audits from government and utilities.

We then discussed a different model, focused on you, as a home comfort services provider. What makes you different is you already have a customer base and ongoing relationships that take you into your customers' homes at least one or more times a year through service and maintenance.

You asked us to put together a program that allows you to provide Home Performance services while capitalizing on your core business as a Home Comfort Specialist.

With your help and the contributions of NCI's trainers and coaches we put together a comprehensive package, completely at your disposal, to address this need. At NCI Meets you will got all the forms, sales materials, marketing collateral, processes and procedures to put your Home Performance Services business into high gear.

Our model focuses on the four key areas affected by Home and HVAC Performance:

1. Safety
2. Health
3. Comfort
4. Energy Efficiency

Each of these key areas are the filters through which the evaluation and testing process is performed. At NCI Meets we took you from the 30,000 foot view down to each of the evaluation steps, including performance testing, and a marketing and selling process.

The meeting was conducted in four general sessions:

Session I: Home Performance As A Service - A 30,000 foot view - Dominick Guarino

Session II: Provide True "Total Home Comfort Testing Services" and Maintenance Agreements - Rob Falke

Session III: Common Diagnostics and Repairs of the Whole House Comfort System - David Richardson

Session IV: How to Sell Total Home Comfort Tune-Ups and Total Home Comfort Maintenance Agreements - David Holt

Each of the sessions built on the previous to provide you with a detailed approach to differentiating your Home Performance Services from the typical contractor or auditor out there.
